How To Use
Blend SunGleam Illuminator with our Face Crème Tinted Mineral Day to add that sun-kissed glow and warmth. You can add SunGleam Illuminator to create shimmer on legs and arms. Or simply dab a small amount on eyes, cheeks, brow, lips.
This product can be added to daily moisturizer in winter when less SPF is needed. NOTE: IF YOU MIX TINTED FACE CRÈME WITH MOISTURIZER THE SPF WILL BE REDUCED.
To make your own Gleam Crème, combine with Jao Brand Goē Oil (or any other products you may use) to illuminate legs, arms and décolletage. Dab directly on cheeks, eyelids or brow for highlights. Add to lip gloss or balm.
"I was thrilled when Jao Brand released a tinted SPF version of the Crème along with a sun-protecting SunGleam Illuminator: a shimmering, golden cream packed with real 24k gold. I bought both and have been wearing them fairly consistently for the last couple of weeks and, not surprisingly, I am in love.
When the Crème really shines (pun intended) is when I mix it with the Illuminator. You really only need the tiniest dab of the latter: it’s so shimmery that using too much can leave you looking a little like the Tin Man. A drop mixed in with the Crème, however, will give a radiant glow and a beautifully even complexion. The versatile Illuminator can also be used as a cream highlighter and, mixed with Jao’s delicious Goē body balm, will give you perfectly shimmering limbs."
How do I apply the SunGleam Illuminator to my skin? This is a totallyunique product. Formulated as a cream rather than a liquid. Apply only a very small amount and pat onto cheekbones, or use fingers to apply to eyelids. Another pro tip for easier application is to layer it on top of a light oil so that it spreads easily. This product works amazingly well (when using a larger amount) mixed into either Goē Oil or any body product you might have and apply to arms, legs, and décolletage. Gives a gorgeous subtle glow. Note: If you put the Illuminator directly onto your face and try to blend it in you will look like a white ghost.
What other ways can I wear the SunGleam Illuminator? The SunGleam Illuminator is truly a one of a kind and versatile product.
If you want glowy dewy skin, add a SMALL amount to any face product for a sunkissed finish.
Use as a cream highlight and apply a tiny amount to your cheekbones, browbone, inner corner of the eye, and cupids bow to glow to the gods.
Want to look like a supermodel on the red carpet, who doesn’t? Apply the SunGleam Illuminator into any other body product you use (Goē Oil) to illuminate, sculpt, and even skin tone on the legs, arms, or décolletage.
Can I mix SunGleam Illuminator with other products containing oil? SunGleam Illuminator will not break down with oils. You can mix it into any product with oil to thin and spread out, HOWEVER, remember this will LOWER the SPF rating!
Is it Reef Safe? Our SunGleam Illuminator is Reef Safe as we have sourced large particle uncoated Non-Nano Zinc Oxide at 20%. [If your sunscreen is zinc oxide with nano sized particles it is not reef safe. Per the New York Times, any particles smaller than 100 nanometers can be consumed by coral.]
Will this product cause flashback in photos? Most products containing SPF have the potential to cause flashback especially products containing Zinc Oxide. This happens because Zinc Oxide is a white mineral powder and works by reflecting sun rays, therefore, white tends to reflect during flash photography. Keep this in mind when taking pictures with flash photography.
