• Moisturize Skin • Tame Flyaway Hair • Soften Cuticles Not a pomade but a Bomade™ (body+pomade!)
Our balm contains an essential oil blend of wood, citrus and patchouli in a natural oil and beeswax base. Stroke your beard or 'stache to tame flyaways, soften hair follicles, moisturize your skin and smell good. Makes a great travel product.
Bomade is a solid oil – not a stiff, waxy pomade. Tame finely textured hair and control frizz on thick hair. If you apply to damp hair it makes a lovely natural curl. Use it to moisturize cuticles and the white dry skin around nails. You can rub balm on dry body parts to moisturize skin and soften rough hands.
NOTE: If you see white spots on top and/or little hard beads or grains in your Bomade there is nothing wrong with it, these ARE NOT contaminants, mold or rancidity – nope.
Grainy butter is simply a result of temperature fluctuation. Skin butters like Shea and Cocoa have different melting points. The reason our Bomade is so nourishing is because we have over 30% Shea butter. Shea butter contains fatty acids and vitamins throughout, which is what your skin and hair love about the balm. Occasionally during manufacturing as the Shea butter is cooling, fatty acids start to become solid faster than the Shea itself and crystals form. They will melt when rubbed between your fingers with your body heat. Likewise, Summer temperatures can cause Shea butter to melt while it's shipped to you, forming harmless crystals; it's a function of the lush Shea butter.
Naturally scented. No parabens, sulphates, PEG, propylene glycol, TEA, DEA, phthalates, mineral oil, silicones or synthetic fragrance
Only tested on humans (humanely). Made in the USA with US and imported ingredients.
Why does my Bomade smell different than before? We only use essential oils and not synthetic fragrance, you might notice a slight fragrance variation from batch to batch. This is because the essential oils are made from plants and each growing season there are changes due to weather, moisture and sun.
What are the little dark spots on the surface of my Bomade? Natural oils and butters melt and cool at different temperatures, and oxidation of the crystals may occur. There is nothing wrong with the product. This is a function of its natural properties, and sometimes happens with natural ingredients. The spots disappear when applying the product.
What are the little white dots on the surface of my Bomade? Shea Butter can crystallize when it cools. There is nothing wrong with the product. This is a function of its natural properties and sometimes happens with natural ingredients.
